The Colossal Squid has sharp hooks at the end of his tentacles as well as suckers and teeth unlike the giant squid which only has teeth and suckers. The first sighting of a Colossal Squid was finding two tentacles in the belly of a Sperm whale. Scientists then used underwater cameras to find a huge eye starring at the camera. But it is now proven exist and grows up to 8 meters according to recent studies. The largest Colossal Squid caught was by new zealander fishers off the coast of Antarctica, measuring initially 10 meters but then the creatures tentacles shrunk making it still a whopping 4.2 meters due to the tentacles shrinking.

Scientists don't know much about this creature due to the specimens natural instinct of staying in the abyss of the sea.
